Applications
Thermofix offers excellent adhesion to fibrous products, metals, refractory materials, and any type of construction material. Therefore, it can be used for:
– gluing braids (fiberglass, ceramic fiber, Biotex fiber, etc.)
– bonding refractory products to metal parts subject to high temperatures
– couple sheets, socks or other refractory materials
– assemble refractory bricks in furnaces and heating systems
User Guide
- The substrate must be clean and free of dust.
- Apply Thermofix to the parts to be assembled (on insulating materials the cream must be applied using a spatula).
- Position the parts that need to be joined by pressing for a few seconds
- Let dry for approximately 48 hours at room temperature. Gradually warm the material without direct contact with flame. The material can be washed with water.
