NEST – Automatic Freestanding Fireplace with Star Burner | Planika

NEST is a freestanding designer fireplace intended to become the absolute centerpiece of any room. Its distinctive fluted casing creates a strong yet refined visual presence, with slender vertical lines that interact with the light and lend depth to the form. The fireplace works equally well in private residential settings and in thoughtfully designed commercial spaces.

At the center of the fireplace stands the star burner: a tall, three-dimensional, dynamic flame that immediately captures attention, creating atmosphere and warmth in a completely natural way. The glass enclosure stabilizes the flame while providing 360° visibility—the fire can be seen from every corner of the room, with all its intensity and movement.

NEST is equipped with patented BEV® (Burning Ethanol Vapours) technology, which burns bioethanol vapors instead of the liquid fuel directly. The result is a clean, natural flame without smoke, odors, or ash. The combustion process produces only water vapor and a minimal amount of CO₂. Thanks to this advanced system, no flue is required, offering complete installation freedom: NEST is suitable for private homes, city apartments, hotels, and commercial spaces.

The fireplace can be controlled via the integrated touch panel, remote control, mobile app, or Smart Home systems. You can turn the fireplace on and off, adjust the flame intensity across 6 levels, and conveniently monitor the fuel level remotely. The automatic refilling system always maintains the correct bioethanol level in the tank, eliminating the need for manual monitoring.

The tank has a capacity of 9.0 liters, with a maximum operating time of 11 hours and a maximum heat output of 10.9 kW. The fuel used is 95–96.6% bioethanol. The fireplace is made of steel, galvanized steel, and glass, with a black powder-coated finish. It requires a 230 V power supply and is intended exclusively for indoor use. The recommended minimum room volume is 109 m³.
