Applications

Thermofix offers excellent adhesion to fibrous products, metals, refractories, and all types of building materials. For this reason, it can be used for:

– gluing braids (fiberglass, ceramic fiber, biotex fiber, etc.)

– gluing refractory products onto metal parts subjected to high temperatures

– joining plates, sleeves, or other refractory materials

– assembling refractory bricks in furnaces and heating systems

User Guide

1. The substrate must be clean and dust-free.
2. Apply Thermofix to the parts to be assembled (on insulating materials, the cream should be applied using a spatula).
3. Position the parts to be joined, applying pressure for a few seconds.
4. Allow to dry for approximately 48 hours at room temperature. Gradually bring to temperature without direct contact with flame. The material can be washed with water.
