Termofix 115 g/70 ml tube

Ready-to-use refractory adhesive, suitable for sealing and bonding. It consists of alkaline silicates and mineral components, allowing it to withstand temperatures of up to 1100°C. It is therefore non-combustible and does not emit smoke. Strong, immediate adhesion.

Applications

Thermofix offers excellent adhesion to fibrous products, metals, refractory materials, and all types of construction materials. It can therefore be used to:

– bond braids (glass fiber, ceramic fiber, Biotex fiber, etc.)

– bond refractory products to metal parts exposed to high temperatures

– join sheets, sleeves, or other refractory materials

– assemble refractory bricks in furnaces and heating systems

Instructions for use

1. The surface must be clean and free of dust.
2. Apply Thermofix to the parts to be assembled (on insulating materials, the cream must be applied using a spatula).
3. Position the parts to be joined, applying pressure for a few seconds.
4. Allow to dry for approximately 48 hours at room temperature. Gradually bring it up to temperature without exposing it to direct contact with the flame. The material can be washed with water.
